Carl, at the Belden’s location on Bulverde Road, is a pleasure to work with. Very knowledgeable, very patient, a great explainer, and clearly his philosophy is that the customer comes first.

I'm San Antonio born and raised, and I don't often have needs for an Automotive shop. Recently though, when my 2014 Ram 1500 was having some strange, intermittent AC issues that seemed more electrical than anything, I asked my network of friends if they had any recommendations for a shop and I was referred to Belden Automotive. Like most, I was apprehensive of being taken advantage of, but I greatly appreciated the experience I had. Jason, the GM (not sure if overall, or at the San Pedro location) was warm and engaged when I came in, told me what was going to happen, did what he said would happen, and called the following business day to tell me exactly what was going on. I authorized the work, picked up the truck that afternoon, and have been enjoying my AC in this SA heat for a few weeks now. The great warranty they provide is unique too. I'll definitely refer them and take my needs to them in the future.

Not Cheap but they do quality work. So, if you want the job done right and you have the money, then check Belden's out. They also have excellent customer service!

Service on 7/11/19 - Worked with Carl up front on my 2012 f150 that was having some coolant leakage and overheating issues, and he kept me updated the entire time and stuck to his promise to have the truck fixed by the deadline. He also went out of his way to be honest about the work that was needed to be done right now to have a working vehicle and to tell me what could wait. I will be back to complete the rest of the work next month and they have not only earned my life long business but I’m going to tell everyone else I know to take their vehicles here.

After recently moving to San Antonio, we were not sure who to trust with our vehicles. Belden's on Bulverde was recommended, and I am so happy that we trusted them with our repairs. Not only was everyone courteous, but the repairs were done quickly, and the final cost was much cheaper than I had anticipated. The service advisor called often with updates, and treated our vehicle as his own, just as promised. We love supporting local businesses and we have found our new repair shop!

TLDR: Fair prices for quality work that is backed by warranty. Staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and will keep you informed of work status. They'll suggest other needed work, but I didn't feel pressured to get it. Central office called a few weeks after last visit to follow up on satisfaction. A few months ago I went in with my truck and had the following done: rear brakes replaced (drums, hardware, basically everything); rear axle seal fixed; front and rear differential and transfer case flushed and refilled, power steering flushed and refilled, AC flushed and recharged. A few weeks later a parking brake cable broke (not their fault, truck is an '06 from Ohio), resulting in my right rear brake partially engaging and getting damaged. Took my truck back in, got the parking brake cables replaced and the brake replaced again. Brake was under warranty and there was no hassle from the guys about it. My truck immediately handled much better and the repairs have held up for a few thousand miles. I'm very happy with Belden and will return for maintenance and repairs.
