I've never actually felt like I could trust an auto shop/mechanics. I trust this company, the staff, and the techs. THAT is how knowledgeable and professional they are! As long as I'm in Texas I won't take any vehicle anywhere else.

I moved here for professional school a few years ago, and it's difficult to find a trustworthy auto repair place in a new city that isn't trying to trick you into buying more for your car than needs repair. I had taken my car to my dealership service repair shop in town a few months ago (after being required to leave the car there overnight and thus having to get a rental car) and was given a 15-item long list of things that needed "urgent but not emergent" repair on my car (including my brakes). This was after I've had ~$3000 worth of work done on my car in the past 1.5 years, so I was surprised there was that much work that still needed to be done because my car isn't that old. I took my car here recently after reading reviews online (and because it's close to my house) to get my brakes inspected/repaired, and I'm really glad I did. Mark and Colt were both very professional, helpful, and timely. They were able to take a look at my car and allow me to pick it up in the same day, without charging me some crazy general consult fee. I was told that my brakes actually looked great, despite what my dealership service had said. They educated me on signs to look out for in a few months to know if I may need new brakes, and they even did an extra point inspection of my car as a whole and said I had kept my car in great shape. I really appreciated their honesty and customer service. I really value these qualities in companies and they're really difficult to find. I have since spread the word to my classmates that if they're looking for an auto repair place, this is the way to go.

I can only say how pleased with Belden’s Automotive & Tires at 281 I was.. Carl and Dean were both very patient in answering my questions, especially since I had been misinformed the week before about my car. They were very honest in explaining the expenses I would incur and how long it would take before I could have my car returned to me. The reason I chose them was because they had come very highly recommended to me by a “Car Person” who would know… He was right! Thanks Guys….

Hello! I just went there this morning at about 915am. I arrived with a flat tire. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Although they were super busy he still offered to get my tires checked knowing that there may not have been a fix for them and may need them to get replaced. I waited for just a short while as he kept me updated on the status and sure enough, I had 2 tires with nails, one of which was completely flat. He offered to order tires for me and have them there by Monday to replace mine but unfortunately I needed the replacement sooner. I told him I could just call roadside and have them come put the spare and he said that they would do it for me! I was so impressed! AND I wasn't charged a penny for the tire change! He could have just brushed me off since I wasn't able to buy tires from their business and he didn't. The gentleman that did the actual inspection and change of the tire was also very helpful. I had so many things in my trunk that needed to be moved to inside my car so he could put the bad tire in it. He actually helped me move my belongings to the back seat. Such nice guys! Even though I live over in the Converse area, I will definitely go back to Belden's just because of the excellent customer service. Thank you gentleman and I regret not getting names to point out who helped me, but thank you.
