They wanted to charge me $100 just to run diagnostics on the car, what a joke.

I have always used Belden's (on San Pedro) because I find that they are the most honest people in town. On several occasions, they have done minor work or given me an opinion on work without charging me a cent. So, it makes sense that I would go back to them when I need something bigger done. I had an oil leak this week, and they were able to diagnose and repair the leak for less than their estimate. Plus, they always have great coupons. Sure beats the high-dollar dealerships. The other thing I really like about Belden's the courtesy of their team. Everybody is so kind and professional, and they make the waiting as comfortable as possible. Their shop (and even the bathroom) is spotless!

Belden's Automotive is now my go to for all my auto needs and repairs! I've been in the market for a shop to take care of my car and Belden's checks all the boxes. After checking over my car, they took the time to explain the repairs I needed which confirmed what I had been told previously by another shop. They provided me with an exact quote of what the repairs would cost (which were reasonably priced) and even pointed out which repairs were necessary now and those that could wait a bit. A free shuttle service is provided and it's very prompt and courteous. All of the Belden personnel were friendly and courteous and the waiting area is very comfortable!
